We’re now almost done with October…
- We updated the baby page, so feel free to stop on over there…3.5 weeks to go and counting…
- Birthing Class is done, and we just need to pack our overnight bags.
- We are inundated with honeybees in our Mums, and ladybugs in our house. We know ladybugs are good happy insects, but the sheer number of them is a little freaky. We had 30 of them on our front door the other day. David likes to try to catch the low-hanging ones.
- NFL season is upon us, and Rob is not doing too bad in the office pool. Go Pats Go!
- Heather’s still excited about watching baseball in the snow. Go BoSox!
- Heather’s tried to take up knitting because she needs some type of craft to do while sitting, that can be easily picked up (and then put down), and one that limits sharp needles (she’ll have to postpone her cross-stitch for a few months). Grandma Fraser tried to teach Heather to knit years ago, but it didn’t stick. Maybe she’ll keep with it this time…
- Cats are getting sleepy and finding all the cozy spots; Buster loves the smells that stick in the leaves.
- Rupert is still with us (10 year old goldfish) but his aquarium-mate Roscoe passed away earlier this month. Just to let everyone know, Rupert has been with Heather since Sr. year of college. He was a feeder fish originally given out as part of a “fish walk” philanthropy activity Heather’s Junior year; and Michelle originally had him, and gave him to Heather. He’s been in at least 7 states, and survived multiple moves, and has gone through/eaten/outlived about 11 other gold-fish roommates.
Posting may be more sporadic for a few months, but we’ll try to keep you posted on baby news and other big items as they happen. Enjoy the fall weather, and the festive seasons ahead!!
